Hooray!

My mom has friends from Milwaukee coming to visit her this weekend...I haven't met Jason and Nicole yet but I hear they are a lot of fun! I can't wait to cover them in cat hair! I hope they have a safe drive here...steer clear of the roadkill! You know, stuff that looks like this...

I'm the king of the world!!

Sorry I haven't updated my blog in awhile; I've been busy pulling pranks on mom. I got her real good a couple of weeks ago... It was fairly late at night when she decided to watch a movie. She was standing by the entertainment center with her back to me. I jumped on my pedestal (which was right behind her), got on my hind legs and tapped her shoulder with my paw. She nearly jumped through the roof because she thought there was another person in the house! Hee hee.

Spring Fever

Since we've had a lot of rain the past few days, I was very excited to awake (at 6am) to sunshine. I tried desperately to get mom out of bed, but she just kept shh-ing me and telling me to go back to bed. I think I finally got her attention when I sat on her face (because my butt smells). Anyway, when she eventually got out of bed she "drew back the curtains, to see for certain, what I thought I knew" (that line was for Auntie Shashi). Yep, the sun was shining and the snow has melted! It got up to 61 degrees today, so I meowed as loud and as long as I could to see if mom would let me go outside. No such luck. I almost snuck out when she took the garbage out, but my obesity got in the way. Drat. So, I had to settle for the next best thing...a little window tanning.
